(866) 206-9067 x3879 The Good News is the Bad News is the Good News is the Bad News.... 06/23/2003 - 3:00 p.m. You may remember that 3 weeks ago our landlord had some construction work done on our roof to correct the leak that had been going on since before we moved into the place in January, but they had never gotten around to fixing. It was irritating while they were but nice because finally we could take the bucket that we kept in the hall out of the hall because now there would be no more leaking. Right? Au contraire, mon frere! This weekend we had lotsa lotsa rain. Lotsa lotsa. This was kinda nice because I had no where to be, and so I stayed in and read and worked around teh house and snuggled with the cats and the girlf. (I also managed to leave the sunroof on the car open a tad, which wasn't the best eye deer I ever had, but never mind that.) It was also not so great, because the 3-week old roof managed to spring a leak in the exact same place it had been before. This is also good, because if it had been elsewhere, we probably wouldn't have known, because there still a hole in the ceiling where the leak wore out the plaster, so it was immediatly obvious that the leak was there again, and might not have been if it was leaking on some other spot in the ceiling where the plaster hadn't worn away. Not to say that it isn't already doing that and we don't know about it yet. See what I did there? I went and moved my diaryring to a rings and reviews page!
