I'm Like, Old And Stuff

Last night I went to see the Rock and Roll, and today I feel like warmed up sludge. But it was worth it - the illustrious and wonderful Wire were sure super fabulous, as always. I lucked out and got there at 10, mere minutes before they played. Who knew that they would want to get home early too, just like me?
I wonder if I'm old, or coming down with something? I'm coughing a lot and have a sore throat, so maybe it's the latter. More likely both, which is a bit of a drag, because tonight there is more of the Rock and Roll available, this time with the Mekons on their 25th anniversary tour, and boy oh boy would I like to see that. And then Monday it's the Pere Ubu tearing up the house.
Has anybody but me noticed that all these bands are at least 25 years old? Gadzooks, it's my youth come back to haunt me!
In other news, who would have figured that Jonny and I would both name-check Under Pressure on the same effing day?
