I give myself an A for effort, but the truth is - pretending that nothing's changed didn't work so good a lot. Something did. Saturday was really kinda unpleasant for me. I'm glad you liked the Strangemen, and I thought things were going better between us by that point, but - um - something changed. I don't know what, exactly - maybe we pushed things too fast. Maybe we really aren't that well suited, despite the obvious connections - we just were both feeling lonely at the holiday season and grabbed ahold of someone who looked like a good match. I don't think that's it (I don't want that to be it), but it could be. Anyway, I don't feel real great about you or me right now. I think that there probably is something good that could come out of this for us - but I think a day or two of time off would be good right now.
