In the last few weeks (ok, months) I have been super super busy at work. Working late most every night, working at least one day on the weekend, that kind of busy. I've also been using most Saturdays as rehearsal days for the all-new Redblur Rockstravaganza, which is to say, my new band. This has meant that I haven't had much time to spend with the financ�e. (If you haven't been keeping up, the girlf and I are gettin' hitched in the fall. On Halloween Eve, and stuff.)
This has made me tired and cranky, and on several occasions I have been a bit of a pill and all around jerky. So what does the financ�e do about all this? She sends me this email:
Will you be able to come home early so you can kick back and relax? I want to make you a special dinner. Is there anything that you would like me to make?Golly baby, I'm a lucky cuss.
