Yesterday was a mighty fine day, all around. In no particular order, here are the high points:
First, I got my taxes done. Finally.
Second, I had a swell conversation via IM with one of my most favorite D-land pals in which I was threatened with bodily harm if I acted like a jamoke. How cool is that?
Third, I got a guestbook entry from another of my most fave new D-land pals in which I was threatened with bodily harm if I didn't get my taxes done. But I did, so no spankings for ole Red. I'm kinda sad about that, actually.
Fourth, I went into yon studio and came out with a fully mixed song. Ok, well, almost fully mixed. What we ended up doing was mixing it in three sections, and they need to be stitched together with some digital editing, and I need to add one piece of sampled geetar racket, and then it'll be done. Yay Red! Only 12 more to go and you'll have a finished album.
And I hate to say this, because it sounds all swell-headed and such, but, man, that song rocks.
Oh yeah, Nanny is looking for original terms for masturbation. Send her yours. Mine was "making the beast with one back." If you don't have one already, make one up. It's fun. Send 'em to me too, ok?
